The kids and I went the NHMS this weekend for a tour. Bette was wonderful and gave us a great tour of the facility.  They were racing go-garts and believe it or not, some of these little vehicles hit 137 mph!  While we were there, we met up with the White Mountain chapter of the BMW Car Club.  They were offering their driving school which was nothing like I’ve ever seen.  People bring their own cars and basically learn how to stay in control.  For instance, they taught drivers how to get their car out of a spin on wet pavement.  I was brought in one of the cars for a sample lesson.  I didn’t do the driving!  The instructor  was unbelievable.  The group offers classes for adults and for new teen drivers.
